Cacao Energy Balls

Everyone loves chocolate. Chocolate makes the world go round! Here’s a healthy energy-boosting snack recipe made using cacao powder.

You can’t go wrong with cacao, which is literally known as the “Food for the Gods”. It releases serotonin and endorphins in the body which are feel-good chemicals immediately familiar to anyone who’s eaten chocolate. Cacao retains all the good stuff unlike the chocolate you get on the market shelves: fibre to support digestion, magnesium to keep your nervous system healthy, and antioxidants to fight oxidative damage. Hence, the entire family will be consuming healthy chocolate!

Chia seeds are a great source of energy that the body can easily absorb. It is packed with antioxidants, fibre, protein, calcium, omega 3-fatty acids, and carbohydrates.
